No landlord should have an empty property in Leamington and Warwick, according to Leamington’s leading letting agent, Accord Lets, who in the month of June have let an astounding 69 properties – 75 per cent of them let within a maximum of one week of marketing.

The properties have been a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments in Leamington and Warwick town centres and two, three, four and five bedroom houses in Leamington and Warwick and surrounding villages.

Landlords struggling to find reliable tenants and home-owners having difficulty selling could stop losing money by placing their property in the hand of Accord Lets.

“Our landlords are delighted with the service they have received from us because they have had no gap in between tenants, ensuring the property continues earning them money without a void period,” said Katie Martin, manager of Accord Lets in Leamington.

“There are many factors fuelling the demand for rental properties, particularly from first time buyers and large numbers of professionals moving to the area where there is so much employment activity,” said Katie.

“We keep a list of prospective tenants and their wish lists of what they want from a property so we can match people to properties as they become available. Currently our list of professional, prospective tenants is over 500 so we are in desperate need of more properties to accommodate these waiting, high quality tenants.

“The market confirms that now is a perfect time for anybody looking to invest into a buy to let property or for existing landlords to increase their portfolios.

“Vendors who may be struggling to sell could consider a let to buy mortgage in order to finance letting their home out while continuing with purchasing their dream home.”

With two decades specialising in residential letting in the Leamington and Warwick area, Accord’s experience and reputation are second to none.

“Seasoned and new landlords can rest assured their biggest asset is in the safest of hands,” said Katie.
