New signs will help provide property details on the spot

In an initiative that takes full advantage of the latest GPS technology, Wiglesworth and Co. has unveiled an eye catching new look for sale board sporting a QR code.

The code will allow prospective buyers the opportunity to immediately view details of the property on the internet whilst standing outside.

Partner Ian Simpson said: “With smart phones now so prominent amongst mobile phone users and the numbers of people viewing property information on mobile devices increasing all the time, QR codes are the perfect way for prospective buyers to get exactly the information they require about a property swiftly and without having to go home and log onto their computer.

“Once the QR code has been scanned using a free Android or Apple app, the phone will take you directly to our own webpage for that specific property along with others we might be selling nearby.

“Therefore vital information such as price, accommodation and room dimensions are on hand within a matter of seconds with the option given to call or e-mail us to arrange a viewing.

“All of our new instructions will now benefit from this useful technology and we are certain that as the market gathers in activity during the weeks leading up to the spring, prospective buyers will appreciate just how helpful QR codes are.”
