Wonderful Wizard is coming to Warwickshire

AUDIENCES can head off to see the ‘wonderful’ Wizard of Oz at Harbury village hall this week.

Harbury Theatre Group are bringing L Frank Baum’s classic tale to the stage at the hall from Thursday to Saturday, with performances each evening at 7.30pm and an extra matinee show on Saturday at 2.30pm.

Tickets cost £7 (£5 concessions) and can be purchaed at the village shops Country Fayre in Chapel Street and Cana Wines in Bank Chambers, High Street, and by calling 613488.

Harbury Theatre Group stages two shows a year in May and November. Anyone who would like to get involved in acting and other areas of production can just turn up at the group’s regular meetings at the Shakespeare Inn in Mill Street, Harbury, on the last Tuesday of every month at 8pm.
