Pub hosts Leamington painter’s giant film art

THE Red Lion pub in Hunningham is giving people a chance to see the latest painting by Leamington artist Paul Oz, who has become internationally known for his large-scale portraits of iconic figures.

Paul’s giant Avengers celebration piece - which has yet to be complete - will create a backdrop for a showing of the film on the pub’s outdoor screen as part of the Red Lion Film Festival from Saturday August 25 to Monday August 27.

Those who like Paul’s work can also him at work at the Butchers Arms in Priors Hardwick on Thursday August 30.

He will then be painting live at Jamie Oliver’s Big Feastival - a two-day event dedicated to celebrating food and music - at former Blur guitarist Alex James’s farm in Chipping Norton on September 1 and 2.
