Hope, fear and love at south Warwickshire village hall

editorial image

A GOLDEN wedding celebration is at the centre of a comedy coming to Kineton next week.

Members of Kineton Amateur Dramatics Society are performing Dodie Smith’s Dear Octopus at the village hall from Thursday to Saturday at 7.30pm each evening.

Set in the 1930s, the play takes place during the weekend of the golden wedding anniversary of Charles and Dora Randolph.

Four generations of the family meet for the celebration. It is a time for hope and for old memories to come back and to face old fears, anxieties - and a time for love.

Tickets cost £6 and are available at Flower Thyme in Banbury Road, Kineton, or alternatively call 642313.
