Global Gathering, Long Marston Airfield, Stratford, July 27-29.

LASERS, lights, smoke cannons, earth-shaking bass and crowds of elated people revelling in it all.

That’s what GlobalGathering is all about.

Now a popular and permanent fixture on both the worldwide dance calendar and on Warwickshire’s programme of annual entertainments, the festival pulls no punches when it comes to delivering thrilling sounds and spectacles in equal measure.

It’s easy to see why each year tens of thousands of electronic dance music fans keep coming back for more.

Global’s intense party atmosphere draws you in and doesn’t let you go until the very early hours of Sunday morning.

You’ll need strength and stamina to see you through and your most hardy stomping shoes are a must.

Camping, either VIP or regular, is highly recommended and probably a necessity to get the most of the experience and more bang for your buck.

An extended programme kept the world-renowned artists arriving and getting the masses bouncing until gone 4am on both nights.

Massive names such as US super producer Skrillex, who not only brings his records and his mixing skills but an entire sensory show, rap idol Tinie Tempah, returning by popular demand, and chart-topping British duo Chase & Status made efforts which confirm that they hold this festival in the highest regard.

And their audience’s reaction showed that they feel the same.

In every tent, every arena, every small pocket of the event there was an atmosphere of extreme enjoyment.

The party will recommence around this time next year and it’ll be even bigger, bolder and more booming than before.
