I WRITE in support of Warwick-shire County Councils proposal to install speed cameras without the usual warning signs.
To those cynics who say that this move is no more than a ploy to increase the amount of motorists being caught out by speed cameras, thus maximising the income from fines, and who consider the extra income so raised to be a means of employing yet more people on the public purse, and funding their gold-plated and index linked pensions, I say shame on you.

How could you doubt the altruism of our county council.

On this occasion it is surely apparent that they are motivated by nothing other than the wish to have less signage on our roads and thus avoid clutter.

To those who doubt the sincerity of our councillors and council employees, they should accept that sometimes unlikely things do occur.
Why it was only this morning that I looked out of the window and saw a whole squadron of pigs fly by. - David Brown, Sandown Close, Lillington.
