Let's stand together to stop 'seedy' club

I WAS shocked to find out that once again another lap dancing club could become a reality in Leamington (Courier, last week).
The former Irish Club is near many offices and quite frankly many staff are upset at the prospect of this demeaning club. It is bad enough and expected that a man would consider such a business prospect, but a woman? Quite frankly, I find this disgusting - it's letting the side down. Ms Carrington is using her own sex simply as commodities to make profit.
Does she think women have been put on this planet just to fulfill men's needs? Surely as a business woman she could have come up with a venture that did not exploit members of her own sex.
Come on women of Leamington, let's stand together and stop another one of these seedy clubs from establishing itself. - Jodie Wiltshire (address supplied).
