Leamington's first pet boutique, Petville, opened on Friday March 14.
The shop in Bath Street sells natural foods and supplements for happier, healthier pets with a range of stylish accessories and pampering goodies.
Nicky set up Petville together with her husband, graphic designer Christian, after discovering the benefits of a natural diet.
Nicky’s pet dog, Scooby, an Airedale Terrier, was very hyper-active on his diet of supermarket food. However, after feeding him a diet of natural dog food, Nicky found he became much calmer.
Nicky says, “When you discover what is in many of the foods on offer, its no wonder pets suffer from hyper-activity and skin conditions.
“There are so many additives and simply nothing of any value in some foods. I’ve selected all my foods based on the contents and I’m confident that anyone who switches will see the benefits.
“Diet can have an effect on the general health and fitness, skin and coat condition, dental health and even allergies.”
Nicky has also put together a collection of great pet accessories from around the world including collars, leads, beds and clothing from as far away as America and Australia, many of which are exclusive to Petville. Nicky says, “It is nice to treat your pet to something special, but I was disappointed with what was on offer locally.”
The centre of attraction is a pink chaise lounge, ideal for any pampered pooch.
The shop is located at 43 Bath Street, Leamington and also online at petville.co.uk
Anyone wishing to discuss their pet’s diets should drop in - you and your pets are welcome! You can also call 01926 422782, or email mail@petville.co.uk
Nicky will be offering free local delivery on all foods.
