LITTLE ones in Lillington are thrilled to welcome back a toddler group which has started up again after a six-month gap.

The Tiddlywinks at St Paul’s church has not had a home while the church underwent a major refurbishment, but now that the work is complete, the group was able to be up and running again this week.

Gail Duxbury, children and families minister at St Paul’s, said: “We now have a new kitchen so the refreshments will be improved and there is more space for more activities. There is also a bigger craft area and a story-telling area.

“Last year we won a £2,000 grant from Warwick District Council’s community cohesion fund, which we have now spent on new toys, which added to the excitement.”

The Tiddlywinks, which is run by 18 volunteers, runs sessions for children from babies to pre-school age, every Monday and Tuesday, 10am to 11.30am. To find out more, call Gail on 427149.
