Services for memory loss

CHURCH services aimed at people with dementia are open to all in need in town.

The short services of praise by St John’s Church in Warwick Road, Kenilworth, are open to anyone with dementia or memory impairment.Leaders Jenny Blair and Margaret Allcock said
services are tailored for those used to attending church, but can no longer make it due to memory failing or confusion.

Those with no church background are also welcome and services will all follow the same familiar format
followed by tea and a chat.

Margaret said: “We have personal experience of dementia within our own families and are both aware of the great needs of people with this condition.”
