Pancake day races for all

EAGER runners are gearing up for this year’s pancake day in hope of winning big in funs through the town.

Pancake Races will be held in Abbey End between 2.30pm and 4.30pm on Tuesday February 12 when everyone is encouraged to get out and take part and help shake off the winter blues.

Organised by the Town Centre Partnership and pub, The Almanack, the races are suitable for all ages and free to enter either individually or in teams of four.

The winner with the best overall time for the run will bag themselves lunch for four at the pub and pancakes will be on sale after the event for everyone to enjoy a tasty treat.
