High flying visit from gymnast

editorial image

PUPILS had the shock of their lives after a breathtaking visit from Olympic gymnast, Harry Owen who performed a stunt jump over the teachers.

Following on from the excitement of the Olympics and Paralympics, St Augustine’s School was visited by the sportsman for an afternoon of sports and fund-raising for new games equipment.

After a children’s exercise class to promote wellbeing, Harry performed a gymnastic display and answered questions about how he got into the sport.

And to round off the visit, he performed a breathtaking flying forward roll over three members of staff to show just how much you can achieve with hard work.
