Gruelling run to bring in £2k

A FISH and chip supper and quiz night will help a marathon runner bring in £2,000 for a London hospice.

Kenilworth resident Charles Keane will take part in the 26-mile London Marathon this year in what will be his first ever marathon attempt.

And as well as the gruelling training schedule, Charles is committed to raising £2,000 for St Joseph’s Hospice in London. The hospice is close to his heart as it has nursed members of his family.

He has organised a quiz night to help raise funds on Friday March 1 at St Francis’ parish centre. Tickets are £7.50 per head and include a fish and chip supper.
