POLITICAL prisoners around the world will receive a special message from Kenilworth this Christmas after support across town.

Volunteers from Amnesty International were out in Talisman Square on Saturday collecting signatures for cards which will be sent to people who have been jailed or harassed for their beliefs.

A total of 90 Christmas cards will now be posted all over the world by the charity in time for the big day to support those suffering and their families.

Also supporting the cause were MP Jeremy Wright and mayor, George Illingworth.
