SIX children from a Kenilworth primary school gathered in the town last Friday to celebrate their First Holy Communion.

The Year Three pupils from Crackley Hall School who celebrated their special day at St Francis of Assisi Church were Colombe Dubois, Mairead Kelly, Michael Platt-McLoughlin, Anthony Convey, Olivia Bentley and Sebastian Dibb.

The whole school attendend the mass, which was led by Father Kevin Hooper, along with prefects and teaching staff from Crackley’s secondary school Princethorpe College, and the town mayor Cllr George Illingworth and his wife Joanna.

The celebration was supported by singing from Crackley’s choral group as well as individual readings.
