50 new daffodil recruits needed

VOLUNTEERS are needed to help with the Great Daffodil Appeal and bring in vital donations for cancer care.

Marie Curie Cancer Care nurses and volunteers will be in Sainsbury’s on Friday February 8, to recruit helpers and persuade them to give just one hour in March to the cause.

The daffodil appeal is the charity’s biggest fundraiser and encourages everyone to give a donation and wear a badge in support of nurses who provide in home care for terminally ill patients.

Michael McCann, community fundraiser, said they need around 50 volunteers in Kenilworth to help with collections on March 22 and 23 and hope recruits will come forward to do their bit.

Visit them in store, or contact Mike on 07885814370 0r visit www.mariecurie.org.uk/daffodil for details.
