Relaunch for salon
Yellow Pepper Hairwork- shop in Kenilworth is holding a relaunch party tonight (Friday).
Salon owner Julie Simpson says the point of the relaunch party is to remind clients that Yellow Pepper is alive and well and open for business with a new line-up of young and dedicated creative stylists.
Yellow Pepper is now 12 years old. Two years ago, to mark the 10th anniversary, Julie commissioned a major refurbishment scheme which cost about £40,000. But within a year of this being completed, two staff left to open their own shop in Talisman Square and most of the Yellow Pepper team went to work there.
Julie said: “I was left with nothing except a beautiful, but empty shop and all the debt that it cost to create it.”
She says she has now put together a new, young and trendy team, but business is very slow. She said: “We are now trying to promote this new team and the fact that Yellow Pepper, one of the longest standing town centre hairdressers, is still open for business and welcomes all former, existing and new clients to enjoy this new promotional evening and meet the new staff."
l Everyone is invited to the party to look around the salon at 42 Warwick Corner, Warwick Road, Kenilworth, from 5.30pm onwards. Call 853433 for more details.
