Mid-Warwickshire's blossoming IT sector is in pole position to lead the fight against the credit crunch by playing an important role in the government's vision for a greener, smarter Britain.
Skills and science minister Lord Drayson told a Commons innovation and skills committee that, over the next ten years, up to three million new jobs will be created in growth industries including healthcare, clean technology and the creative sector.

Ed Jessamine, founding director of Leamington-based IT recruitment specialist TLG UK, said: “Mid-Warwickshire already has the highest concentration of IT companies and IT talent in the West Midlands region. We really are in a good position to create a new knowledge-based economy.”
