Naturopath and medical herbalist Sara Southgate has launched a new practice in Leamington's Regent Street.
Sara has a decade of experience in natural medicine, starting after she successfully treated her own ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome symptoms by introducing diet and lifestyle changes coupled with herbal medicine.

Before relocating to Leamington, she ran a London-based practice.

Her new operation will be based in the therapy rooms of organic and natural remedy practitioners Neal’s Yard, and will treat both individual and corporate clients.

Naturopathy uses the therapeutic properties of herbs in conjunction with lifestyle and diet changes to stimulate the body’s healing processes. Sara also uses a number of other ‘tools’ in her treatment of patients’ conditions including detoxification, nutritional supplements, Reiki, iridology, and Chinese tongue diagnosis.

She said: “Naturopathy can be used to treat a wide range of conditions including ME, stress, fatigue, IBS and menopause. In the past I’ve helped patients ranging from just four weeks to 83 years of age.

“As well as my work with individual patients, more and more companies are now realising the benefits of investing in their staff’s healthcare in order to improve morale, attendance and productivity. I offer a number of corporate workshops and bespoke packages dealing with such factors as handling work place stress and healthy eating.

“Leamington is a vibrant and eclectic town, whilst Neal’s Yard has excellent, purpose-built therapy rooms in a prominent and accessible location, so offer the perfect base from which to run my practice.”

Sara’s interest in herbal medicine began when she successfully treated her own ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome symptoms by introducing diet and lifestyle changes coupled with herbal medicine.

She said: “If anyone needs convincing that Naturopathy works, then I’m living proof!”
