It was interesting to find Kenilworth ex-patriots on the web! I have been in Canada since 1967.
I remember Kenilworth so well. I last visited there about ten years ago. I enjoyed a wonderful lunch in the Queen and Castle.
It was my ‘local’ many years ago when Cecil Dyer owned it. Also I remember the Conservative Club. I enjoyed many pleasant hours there, good snooker tables as I recall.
No doubt the town is changing: hopefully not too much !
I may pay a visit next year and check out the old haunts. I live in Southern Ontario, in Keswick on Lake Simcoe, on which I sail my 25foot Tanzer. The winter we spend in Florida.
I would like to hear from any ‘old’ contacts. I am formerly Lea-Francis, Coventry.
