Miss Draper's boys (October 3 2003)
More details about these old pictures are needed by Kenilworth historians.
The photographs, which belong to the town’s History and Archaeology Society, were taken in the late 19th or early 20th century.
They feature well-loved resident Edith Draper, who ran clubs for young people in Kenilworth.
Society member Irene Potter said: “She had many friends and was well respected by all who came into contact with her. She organised many Christian missions for good causes.”
Miss Draper was born in 1860, the youngest child of Edward and Eliza Draper.

Who are the people in this picture? |
The family lived at Bridge House until 1879 when both parents died and Edith’s brothers and sister moved to London.
She wanted to stay in Kenilworth, becoming governess for the Rev Somerset Pennyfather. She continued working with young people until she was well into her 60s.
Mrs Potter wants to discover the names of others in the pictures, the story behind them, and when they were taken.
